Product Description:
W5100 is a multi-functional monolithic network interface chip with an internal integrated 10/100 Ethernet controller, which is mainly used in embedded systems with high integration, high stability, high performance and low cost. The W5100 enables Internet connectivity without an operating system and is compatible with IEEE802.3 10BASE-T and 802.3u 100BASE-TX. The W5100 integrates a fully hardware, market-proven TCP/IP protocol stack, Ethernet Media Transport Layer (MAC) and Physical Layer (PHY). Ethernet control is not a concern with the W5100, only simple socket programming is required.
