Step 1: Open the package to check the products and accessories, including Tesla coil, switch power supply, 3.5mm audio cable, discharge pin, ion windmill accessories, ion wreath accessories, neon lights and two manuals.
Step 2: test the music playing function, install a discharge needle on the Tesla coil, plug in the power supply, connect the Tesla coil, turn on the power switch, and the Tesla coil starts to work. One end of the audio cable is connected to Tesla coil, and the other end is connected to music output device (mobile phone MP3 computer, etc.). Play music on the device, and the concert is emitted from the arc.
Step 3: Test interval lighting. Hold the metal foot of the neon lamp and slowly approach the Tesla coil. When the neon light reaches a certain distance, it will light up. If you have other gas-containing lamps (such as fluorescent incandescent lamps and some rare gas lamps), you can also do the same outdoor lighting experiment. When no accessories are placed on the top of Tesla coil, no arc will be generated, which can improve the lighting distance and effect, but it is not recommended to use this operation for a long time!
Step 4: test the ion windmill, turn off the power switch and stop the Tesla coil. Remove the top discharge pin and install the ion windmill accessories. Then turn on the power switch and the Tesla coil works. The arc will spray out from both ends of the ion windmill accessories and start to drive the windmill to rotate.
Step 5: test the ion ring, turn off the power switch and stop the Tesla coil. Remove the ion windmill accessories and install the ion wreath accessories. Then turn on the power switch, the Tesla coil will work, and the arc will spray out from the top of the ion ring. Because the thin line of the ion ring is unstable, it will start to shake and scratch. If we turn on the delay shooting function (the delay setting is about 3 seconds) when the ion ring starts to shoot an arc, we can take cool pictures.
1. Principle of plasma loudspeaker: audio signal modulates the working voltage of Tesla coil through circuit. When the music signal is input, the working voltage of Tesla coil will change with the rhythm of the music, thus affecting the intensity of the arc heating air, causing the air to generate musical sound waves with the vibration of the music signal.
2. Insulation lighting principle: Tesla coil will generate high voltage and high frequency pulse electric field. When the gas lamp enters the electric field, the gas in the lamp will be broken down by the high voltage electric field and flow through a weak current, thus emitting light. The distance and effect of illumination are related to the intensity of electric field and the density of gas in the lamp.
3. The principle of ion windmill ion wreath: the electric arc heats the air to make the air flow, thus generating thrust, making the windmill rotate, and making the wreath shake.
