<1>: Power supply
Corresponding to the module port (PCB board label) -, + are connected to the negative and positive terminals of the power supply (battery), it is recommended to use battery or other power supply power. Switching power supplies without filtering (such as mobile phone chargers and other switching power supplies) should not be used, otherwise the resulting interference power will affect the normal operation of the module. The normal operating voltage of this module is 3.0-5.0V, be careful not to exceed the supply voltage range.
<2>: Antenna
The FM_ANT port is used to connect the FM antenna. For better reception of FM signals, an external 75cm long trolley antenna is recommended.
<3>: Headphone/speaker output
The module comes with a 3WX2 channel audio amplifier, the speaker should be connected to the speaker port recommended 4Ω/3W speaker. If headphones are inserted, the audio automatically switches to the headphone channel and the speaker channel is automatically closed.
<4>Volume control
Turn the VOL encoder to adjust the volume, while the LCD screen shows the volume series.
<5>Frequency adjustment
FRE rotate the encoder to receive the frequency, while the LCD screen shows the current frequency under short, the encoder handle is pressed for the mute/unmute switch.

<9>: Access to the serial port (non-contactless serial control)
TTL level serial port module reserved control interface, TTL serial communication module needs to be connected to UART_RX, UART_TX and GND module (PCB corresponding position, marked), you can use external MCU (microcontroller) or PC serial port to send commands associated control module functions. Note: As the PC serial port level is not TTL level, connecting the PC with RS323 communication requires a TTL level electrical switch device for simple installation or using a USB to TTL level serial port module to communicate with the module. Because the serial command control module requires a certain degree of computer expertise, buyers who do not understand please do not try.
<10>: User set
This module can set whether to listen to the campus radio band in the backlight state, according to the user\'s application settings as follows. Shutdown state long press VOL knob down power LCD display shows open campus radio C0 C1 means close campus radio band, the setting takes effect after reboot. By setting the backlight state to off press the FRE knob key to turn on the display backlight always indicates B1, B0 means the backlight is turned off for 20 seconds to take effect after reboot. Repeat this step to change the setting to toggle the status. The factory setting is not to open the unified campus radio band, 20 seconds without operation backlight off.
Note: The factory default setting is Off campus radio, 20S backlight off automatically without operation, Off Auto Squelch. user to set according to the situation.
Noise adjustment method of this module:
This module uses DSP digital squelch, flexible use of software to control the squelch threshold (threshold). When the squelch threshold is 0-20, the smaller the number, the lower the squelch threshold, the easier it is to hear the broadcast signal with background noise, the larger the number, the higher the noise threshold, the output noise is higher than the set value, the automatic static Noise on, so that the output is muted. So when adjusting the squelch threshold, turn the squelch threshold down if you want to hear a weak signal and up if you want to hear a strong signal, depending on the situation. It is important to note that the squelch function does not remove the signal background noise, but rather controls the output squelch based on the noise level of the signal exceeding the threshold.
