Warning:
Any work on the fuel suppy system should be performed only by qualified specialist personnel. The safety and accident prevention regulations and vehicle manufactures instructions must be followed. Compliance with environmental protection regulations must be ensured.
Make sure the power is cut (such as by disconnecting the battery ground)!
Risk of shorting! Pay attention to positive(+)/negative(-)polarity.
Dirt in the tank is the main cause of pump failure.
Thoroughly clean and flush out the tank and lines.
Keep the workplace and pump components clean.
Never fit a pump without a filter or with and old-dirty-filter.
When replacing the pump always use a new filter and fit the new filter in the same position . In case of warranty claime, submit the pump with the original filter.
Do not re-use pumps which have been dropped.
Risk of magnet breakagel! The pump may subsequently fail. Always brace screw fitted pumps by the hexagon.
Risk of destruction of the pump by twisting of the connecting cap.
Disposal:
A removed fuel pump contains a residual amount of fuel. Itshould the refore be protected against beat, fire and sparking. It should also be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner in accordance with local regulations.
