The TSL2561 photometric sensor breakout is a complex light sensor with a flat response in most of the visible spectral range. Unlike simpler sensors, the TSL2561 can measure both infrared and visible light to ground estimate the response of the human eye. because the TSL2561 is an integration sensor (it absorbs light for a predetermined amount of time), it is able to measure small and large amounts of light by varying the integration time.
The TSL2561 is capable of direct I2C communication and can easily conduct a specific light range of 0.1-40k + Lx. In addition, the TSL12561 contains two integrated analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that integrate the current from two photodiodes simultaneously. Each breakout requires a supply voltage of 3V and a low supply current of 0.6mA.
